Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make the robot vacuum worth the cost, particularly for homes with a large footprint. It means you won't have to empty the bin multiple times per run, which keeps it running more often and keeping your floors tidy.
The app lets you set up zones and cleaning schedules. It doesn't omit objects like furniture legs or shoes, and also the Q Revo and J7.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first iRobot. The Combo J7+ is the top-quality iRobot J7 robot vacuum and adds a reservoir of water as well as a robotic arm that can raise and lower mopping mats, and new sensors. The result is a efficient two-in-one cleaner that we found to be superior than mopping-free robotic vacuums.
The Combo J7+ doesn't have the features of smart mopping that our top pick does however it still effectively cleans. It has an efficient brush roll which works well on hard floors as well as carpeted areas. It's able to effortlessly slide between furniture and rugs even on staircases that are steep. It also has a powerful suction that we were impressed with, though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.
What makes the Combo j7+ apart from other robot vacuums is its mopping feature that uses the small, rotating brush to scrub the floor. SmartScrub is what iRobot refers to, and it is akin to the way that a mop would scrub floors. The iRobot App lets you enable it on the basis of a room.
Like other iRobot robots The j7 Plus is very easy to install and use. It's also easy to maintain. Both the dust bin and the water tank can be removed to clean it easily. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos on how to maintain the various parts of the machine. For example replacing the mopping pad and filtering the water tank.
The only drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if you have mopping pads attached and its 210ml water tank is fully filled. It will only vacuum if either of these are missing. The iRobot App lets you monitor the water tank and receive alerts when it is low.

2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is a budget robot that does a great job vacuuming and mopping. Its mopping performance, especially given its cost, is quite impressive. It is effective on hard floors and carpets, picking smaller to larger pieces of debris (think hair tangles, or cat litter). It is also great at cleaning up messes, spills and stains. It also cleans stairs and easy-to get-stuck places thoroughly.
The mopping system utilizes the rotating pad to scrub floors with water, which lifts dirt and grime on spots that are stuck. The pad also dries thoroughly with 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning, preventing the growth of mold and unpleasant odors. You can control the robot using the Roborock App or your voice to begin mopping or change settings, and much more.
Its vacuuming performance is top-notch as well. It has powerful suction and a high-efficiency filters that remove small to large particles with ease. The only issue is that it doesn’t work as well on carpets with pet hair. Ten percent of pet hair remains on our test surface after two vacuuming cycles at maximum power, though this isn't uncommon in the world of vacuuming.
The Q Revo is a fantastic product, thanks to its superior navigation and obstacles avoidance. It also has superb cleaning and mopping capabilities. It's not as good as the top-quality robot vacuum and mop, but it is still an excellent option for anyone on a tight budget. Plus, it charges up to 30% more than its predecessors and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This adds a lot of functionality for a small cost. 3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is inexpensive and comes with numerous great features. The installation was simple and took just five minutes. After removing the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code on the app gets you started. The app is user-friendly and guides you through the process with ease. Once it is set up the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.
The app allows you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app also lets you divide rooms into smaller sections to better meet your specific requirements. You can make an outline of the kitchen and another for the living room. The robot will vacuum the floors at different times in each room.
The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots I've tested. It has an industrial design. self empty robot vacuum is more modular than other models, with the dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The mop pads that are reusable are also a separate feature. They fit into the top of the robot and are connected to a handle in the front, making it simple to remove and refill.
The vacuum is as efficient as any other robot I've tried and comes with two side brushes to the single brush in the majority of models. This increases the vacuum's coverage area and reduces the likelihood of debris being lost around walls and furniture. It isn't perfect in object recognition and tends to be a target for objects such as the carpet with tassels in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is a great choice for maintaining your hard flooring. It does a great job and keeps them looking amazing. It isn't able to vacuum like other hybrids and it can't move from hard floors to rugs or carpets. However, with its long battery life and intelligent mopping capabilities, this model is an excellent option for small and mid-sized homes.
It can also be used in dry sweeping mode, cleaning up to 1,000 square. ft. in a single charge. It can also map your floor plan using the iRobot App and clean rooms in a sequence with compatible Roomba Vacuums.
When used in wet mopping mode, the m6 uses a precision spray to dampen the floor in straight, efficient lines. It's fascinating to watch, and it was able to tackle even the toughest dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It is possible to set it up to use less water or greater than the maximum amount set by the app.
The iRobot application is among the best available and makes syncing to your home wifi easy. It's loaded with user-friendly functions like scheduling, partitioning rooms and creating no-go zones that give you fine control over the machine. You can also see how much power remains in the battery, so you know how long it will last before it needs to be docked or recharged. The m6 can be purchased at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK, at the iRobot Store in the US for $399 and on Amazon (where the M6 is currently on sale). It's available in graphite and white.
5. Shark RV2610WA
The price of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is a major problem. They are convenient, but also expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop with XLHEPA Self-Empty Base, which we reviewed, retails at $699 / PS559 or approximately $1054. If you don't purchase the charging base, you'll still have to spend $549/PS395/about AU$675.
The Shark RV2610WA is a good choice for those who require a robot that is able to tackle both mopping and vacuuming. It uses sonic mopping to scrub floors at a rate of 100 times per minute, and it's also capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains using its included stain-lifting solution. The app lets you set up the machine to clean at a certain time and date. It also has an intelligent feature that allows you to control your robot while you're away.
As far as vacuuming is concerned in the vacuuming department, the Shark performs well and can remove most debris, however, it's not as effective on carpets. It's easy for pet hair to get stuck in the brushroll, and its dirt container can fill up quickly. It also has a number of components that require regular maintenance and replacement, which can result in recurring costs over time.
For the price There are better options on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus, for instance, has better performance on both carpets with a high pile as well as bare floors. It's better built, has a bigger dustbin and is able to maneuver around obstacles such as electrical cords better. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra expense if you need a versatile cleaner that can handle both jobs effortlessly.
